Peridot

Peridot glows with a bright, lively green found in no other gemstone, a color that comes from within the stone itself rather than from any treatment. This collection gathers our peridot, including beautiful material from classic sources like Pakistan, each hand faceted in our Massachusetts studio to bring out its signature apple green brilliance.

Because peridot has such a distinctive natural color, the cut is what gives it life. A well designed facet pattern keeps the green even and vivid while adding the sparkle that makes the stone sing, rather than leaving it flat. Reading each piece of rough and cutting it for maximum brilliance is the craft we put into every peridot in this collection.

Sitting around 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale, peridot is well suited to pendants, earrings, and rings worn with a little care, and it is the cheerful birthstone for August.
